While he hails from Brazil, Marcos Carnaval’s renown stretches to every corner of the world; from the UK, where he’s a favorite of Pete Tong’s BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix, to New York where he’s endorsed by the likes of Roger Sanchez, to Japan where he co-produced an album with Daishi Dance that went #1 on iTunes. In 2014 he put out the addictive “Didn’t Say” that hit the Billboard Top 10. He’s been on stage with Paul Van Dyk, Fat Boy Slim and Paul Oakenfold to name just a few, winning over crowds at Ultra Music Festival and Rio Music Conference. In 2011, Es Paradis in Ibiza made him a resident, making him the first Brazillian to hold residency in the country.
On Thursday, October 22nd, Tommy Boy is pairing Carnaval with Colombian-born DJ and all-around renaissance woman DJ Hannah, with whom he shares a taste for tribal rhythms. Donny Marano and Miguelcasimiro open, and the cherry on top, it’s FREE with RSVP!
