With influences covering all genres of the musical spectrum – bookended by Barry White and James Brown through to the Smiths and the Clash – Tedd Patterson is the living definition of ‘eclectic’. In house music circles Patterson is up there amongst the great and good of the genre. “When I see Tedd Patterson’s name on a record, it usually goes to the top of the pile as I generally associate it with quality,” says Danny Krivit. Widely regarded as a DJ’s DJ his admirers number Tom Stephan, Frankie Knuckles, Radio Slave and Steve Lawler. “I first heard Tedd back in the mid-nineties during the golden era of WMC when he was doing Magic Sessions with Tony and Louie,” states Cielo’s Nicolas Matar. “Tedd has been a very influential figure on the house scene for two decades. I am elated to have given him a home at Cielo.”
Sharing the name with Tedd Patterson’s own record label, Vibal, Tedd explores a whole world of music including tribal, soul, house, techno, and the occasional classic with no limits. Tedd always makes sure to design his sets to build in intensity, and even though the tempo and mood changes throughout the night, the one thing that connects them is groove. Vibal has evolved into one of Cielo’s most popular monthly parties drawing an ever-growing group of loyal fans. It takes place on the first Saturday of every month…
With his Vibal party now into its seventh year his latest challenge will be bringing the energy and passion for his Cielo night to the Internet with the launch of Vibalcast
